An i-lign user group is a community of practice, who meet to share knowledge and experiences relating to project management and i-lign.

Meetings provide an informal forum for discussion and debate on i-lign functionality, knowledge sharing of issues and approaches, learnings to share etc.

Presentations may be given by members, or by invited guests, on areas of interest relating to project and programme management.

i-lign is involved in the Meetings to provide advice and comment on discussion, however the enthusiasm to manage the Community and maintain its momentum rests with the User Group members themselves.

The agenda, prepared by the Chair in discussion with other user group members, may cover topics such as:

  • Culture change issues - case studies and discussion
  • Training approaches
  • New users – introductions and case studies, areas of focus
  • Proposed functionality additions/changes - seeking initial feedback from user group
  • Guest speakers
  • Quick wins and slow successes
  • Barriers to implementation and approaches to resolving them
  • Future plans and advice on how to achieve them

Discussion on requirements prioritisation will be managed through the online community, in order that all customers may participate.
