Are users automatically logged off if there has been no activity?
The default (and recommended) setting is 60 minutes. To modify these settings: 1) Go to Corporate > Administration > Application Configuration. 2) In the System Settings section, enter the number of minutes of inactivity that you want users to be automatically logged out after. The maximum allowed is 1440 minutes (24 hours) however all active sessions are logged out at the time of the batch process update (which is also defined the Application Configuration settings). 3) Click Save. Note: An increase in the user session time increases the amount of data stored in the session - the timeout function clears inactive users and frees up memory. If insufficient memory is available an 'out of memory error' will be generated. The optimum setting that can be applied depends on the amount of system memory available and a number of other factors such as how many users are logged in at the same time and what application function they are using.
