Hi,
I find the options for reporting, as per the main Reports tab really handy, but would love to be able to run these reports against SELECTED TEAM/PROJECTS and not just INDIVIDUAL PORTFOLIOS. Our Project Managers are able to report against individual projects from the Project>Reports tab, but the options here are more limited, and are not useful for reporting against more than one project.

At the moment, I have to go through the main Reports tab, select an HTML report and then spend half an hour manipulating it in Excel just to show the information I need! This could be simplified by aligning the two different Reports menus with one another.

This issue was raised at last month’s User Group Meeting.

Reporting on selected projects

Agree, we are finding this limiting. From our perspective it would be good to be able to select only the projects which are involved in our consolidated reporting, perhaps having a dropdown of all projects and being able to select the ones you want by holding down the control key would be good.

We understand your requirements. This is still on track for delivery in v4.2 as per the time frame given at the user group meeting. We have improved the reporting interface for programme reports and will provide the same interface and functionality for project reports. There is extensive filtering and sorting so you will be able to select specific subsets of your choice to report on.

We are currently redesigning some of the specific reports to improve both readability and functionality.
