An individual risk cannot be assigned to more than one project other than by assigning it to the projects' parent porfolio.
- A risk assigned at portfolio level concerns the portfolio of work and will therefore affect all of the project contained within it, but the risk is not displayed within each project as a project risk.
- A risk assigned at project level concerns only the project it has been assigned to. If the same risk applies to another project, but not all the projects within the same portfolio, then the risk has to be entered again.
Note: All views, reports and risk registers in i-lign display either portfolio or project risks. There is currently no facility to generate a single report which contains both. (This will be addressed in future development - see the Roadmap for more information.)
