Advance Notice of Changes in i-lign 4.2

Please see the Roadmap for details for the next release.

Suggested wording for Project Review Status

Suggested Review Status Wording

i-lign 4.1.1 introduced the Executive Dashboard to provide a colour coded view of project status on a single screen. The colours are based on the review status entered for budget, schedule etc. There is space for two (short) lines of description for each status on each coloured bar. For the dashboard to be meaningful it is important that the wording and the colours are consistent.

The table below provides our suggested wording for each of the status fields. Suggested wording for Project Review Status

Advance Notice of Changes in i-lign 4.1.2

i-lign 4.1.2 is a maintenance release. Changes and bug fixes will be documented in the release notes, however there are several changes that users will notice.

Timesheet management

  • Users will have the ability to change the status of multiple timesheets (Approve/Reject/Send back etc).
  • Users will have the ability to display timesheets by a date range, previously users could only display one week's timesheets.
  • Display the total number of hours recorded for each timesheet.

Advance Notice of Changes in i-lign 4.1.1

i-lign 4.1.1 is a maintenance release. Changes and bug fixes will be documented in the release notes. However, there are three improvements that will be noticed by all users and these are described below:

Please let us know if you're using Team Financials

For a long time i-lign has had both Team and Project Financials (called Budgets prior to 4.0.5). We made improvements to the Project Financials in 4.0.5, and will be releasing more improvements in 4.1. We suspect that our customers are not using the Team Financials feature, and are considering retiring it rather than upgrading it to match the new Project Financials. Clearly we don't want to remove a feature that is in use, so please, if anyone is using or planning to use Team Financials please let us know as soon as you can.
