What are resource categories?
Resource categories a generic resource types or skillsets (e.g. Project Manager, Policy Analyst, Graphical Designer) that can be assigned to a project to build up the resource demand and budget for the project. Last edited by Elaine on Tue, 2007-03-20 15:55.
How can I achieve detailed resource scheduling on a project using resource categories?
Resource categories cannot currently be assigned against tasks in i-lign, which constrains the ability to perform very detailed resource scheduling in i-lign using the resource category construct. Last edited by Elaine on Tue, 2007-03-20 15:56.
How does i-lign handle task slippage on constrained tasks?
Tasks that are constrained by another task or milestone (for example, with a finish-to-start constraint) will only move where the planned start/end date of the constraining task is modified. Last edited by Elaine on Tue, 2007-03-20 15:57.
