How do I apply a mitigating action against a risk?

A mitigation strategy comprising of Preventative and Contingent actions can be created against a risk only after the original risk has been created and saved. This applies to both Project and Portfolio risks.

Can the risk likelihood and consequence scales be changed?

Risk likelihood and consequence numeric scales are hard-coded into i-lign and cannot be modified. However, from v3.2 onwards, their descriptive terms can be customised to align with an organisation's individual risk management strategy.

Risk level calculations

The overall risk level for a project is determined by the risks recorded in the Project Risk Register.

Can a risk be assigned to more than one project?

An individual risk cannot be assigned to more than one project other than by assigning it to the projects' parent porfolio.
